Helping adults with disabilities lead more productive lives
I spoke with these fabulous ladies in Southern Illinois - all heading various agencies and facilities that help adults with disabilities lead fuller, richer lives.
This story was really a tribute to what they do and the facilities, programs and services they provide.
Hopefully readers can benefit from knowing the range of options they have available to them.
There's even a local support group for senior caregivers of adult
children with disabilities that meets once a month at a steak house in Marion.
Approximately 30 families meet up to discuss and share experiences, gain support and learn how to better plan their finances and the future.
Now, how lovely is that? :)
