Writing this story really opened my eyes to the seriousness of the issue at hand and I tried my best to do justice to the subject by making the story as comprehensive as I possibly could, given the word count restrictions.I got to meet some truly inspiring women like Judy Ashby who lost her 18 year old son to suicide many years ago.
She rose like a phoenix from the ashes and went on to become an untiring advocate of suicide prevention services.
