The past week has been hectic, fun, crazy and oh-so-wonderful! My sis is here and life's suddenly become a whirlwind of constant activity and continuous laughter.
Nanu and I took her to Chicago over the Labor Day weekend and we stayed on the 58th floor of a fantastic condominium in the heart of downtown. (A friend owns the place, but lives in Carbondale and just handed Nanu the keys!) 
We did the shopping in the Magnificent Mile, took a 2 hour long twilight boat ride which gave us a guided tour of the architectural details of the city, visited the Museum of Science and Technology, the Shedd Aquarium, pigged out in the many Indian restaurants in Diwan Street, went to a night-club called the Excalibur and generally lived it up!
Now we're back in Carbondale, and I've taken a few days off to spend some time with my sis. We've been catching up on years and years of gossip, shopping, cooking, and doing what sisters normally do - bicker non-stop! But it's been great.
